COMMOTION
The new album is ready and finished – it’s entitled COMMOTION. It includes nine new originals and cover of Ike & Tina Turner’s “Young and Dumb”. Release date (and everything related to it) is still TBA. We’re doing a couple of gigs in September in Tampere and Helsinki. Check out gigs!

Back from the Grave!
Finally our upcoming third album is recorded and ready for the mixing
– yeah, it only took one year in the K-overdrive studio but we found
the way out... There are two brand new songs (Like Stormy Weather &
You Better Sit Down) to check out at myspace.com/slideshaker. At this
moment it's too early to say when the album is coming out so enjoy
those two rough mixes!

Working like a lazy
dog
We are still working in the studio. This time it takes time... a lot
more than we expected. The working title for the upcoming third album
is "Like Stormy Weather". Among new tracks are Bad Moon, Return of the
Vicious Man, Deadly Snakes, Killing Country, She, You Better Sit Down,
Whole World in Your Hands, Sweet Companion and several others. We
propably won't do gigs before the album is ready... so you'll see us
around 2015.

New stuff & gigs
Just wanted to let you know that we have done lots of demo recordings
for the new songs and we are very excited. We have around 10-12 new
songs at the moment and more is on its way. It seems that new stuff is
going to be more varied and experimental than In The Raw... and the
tone is darker.
We're planning to start to record the upcoming album very soon but
it's too early to quess when it comes out. We are not going to do many
gigs in the near future 'cause we want to concentrate on the new
material but there are two gigs in near future:

Last gigs this year
All right folks, the year 2006 is coming to an end and it's been nice
year for us. New album, tour with Sweatmaster and so on… but you still
have two changes to see Slideshaker live and catch a bunch of new
unreleased songs. This Friday, 15th of December we're playing at
Dynamo in Turku and the next day at Street Bar & Café in
Porvoo. Hope

Bad Afro 10 Year Anniversary Party!!!
Slideshaker is playing at Bad Afro Records 10 year anniversary party
which will take
place in Copenhagen November 10th and 11th. The party starts Friday the
10th
at Stengade 30 and continues Saturday at Loppen in Christania. Cool
DJ's
will be spinning records between the bands and special anniversary
t-shirts
will be sold only at the shows. The following line-up should secure

Home Sweet Home!
We are back from the tour in Germany, The Netherlands &
Denmark. We
want to thank all the people who came to see us play and helped us in
anyway. Although we had our share of incidents (the van broke down and
we ate at Cupido's) it was whole lotta fun! Great gigs and nice people!
And of course massive thanks to our touring buddies Sweatmaster who
kicked the town every night, our mixing guy Pentti Dassum who made us
sound good and merchandise seller Sami Wünderboy. We salute you!

The new Slideshaker album will be called "In The Raw". "Bones" will be
released as the first single (7" & CDs) November 14th, 2005.

Slideshaker gets a record deal
Slideshaker is the latest signing to the Bad Afro
Records. Yet untitled second album will be mixed during
September by Jürgen Hendlmeier (The Flaming Sideburns, Sweatmaster,
Baby Woodrose etc.). First single is scheduled for late October and the
album is set for release January 30th.

No, we are not dead. Not even retired. We’ve been working on new
material for the upcoming second album. At the moment we got about 60
minutes of rock-n-roll on the tape so everything’s looking good. It's
better to not set any dates but it's coming.
There’re no gigs in Finland in the near future but we're doing a couple
of gigs in Estonia on the 18th & 19th of March.
